Caroline Giles, the founder of Astaar Marketing & Consulting has a diverse background in music and corporate television, marketing communications, events management, in digital media and has worked with the NHS. This experience has led to her working with companies to implement business transformation with a commercial bias.
As a marketer she specialised in database marketing and within her career worked as a marketing director, client services director and digital media producer. Her roles were highly focused on working with directors to transform and grow business through developing and implementing commercial strategy to meet market and customer needs. She has a good range of skills having been responsible for project management offices, operations and human resources.

Today she works with business owners and directors implementing and advising on commercial development as a function within a business. She has worked with a number of NHS Trusts to provide them with the commercial structure to work cohesively to tender more successfully for new services and retain their current business and to embed marketing as a discipline. She works with the NHS to develop strategy, implementing change and mentoring staff at all levels to influence cultural transformation.
She has experience of engineering, the music industry, television, newspaper publishing, automotive, health and has worked for agencies that provide PR, marketing and digital media having been marketing director for one of the most successful digital media agencies outside of inner London.
